At approximately 6:40 a.m. this morning, a resident of Wylie in the area of East Gaston Drive phoned to report of water leaking and pooling in yards. An NTMWD crew was dispatched immediately to assess and address the situation.
Upon arrival at approximately 7:15 a.m., teams determined the cause and stopped the flow of water. Our teams have secured the site and have begun repair operations. Crews made contact with affected homeowners, and while there are areas of pooling water in some yards, no water has been observed entering homes.
