NTMWD Water Crews Repair Leak on 72” Treated Water Pipeline in Parker

In the mid-morning hours of Friday, February 18, NTMWD Water personnel identified a leak on a 72” treated water pipeline in Parker, TX. Crews quickly mobilized to the site location and began excavation to address the leak.

Repair activities included isolating the pipeline, welding the area around the leak, and putting the pipeline back in service. NTMWD crews worked around the clock though the weekend until repairs were completed early Sunday morning, February 20. Final cleanup of the site continues and is expected to be complete this week.

There was no impact to water delivery to any of our Member Cities or Customers during this repair effort.
